Hale to the Swed's

Today I watched Braxton and when he got here I had a urge for Swedish pancakes. I haven't had them in about a year. Now if you are a Jardine you know what Swedish pancakes are. They are the closest thing to heaven you can get to. We got the recipe from Grandma J. Every time we think we have it Tracie's, Jerianne's, or my moms is different. So today I tried to act like Grandma and added a little more milk and oil. I got really close. They were so good. They still didn't taste like hers though. So I think we should all compare recipes. Ryan doesn't understand my obsession with them. It brings me pure joy in my life it sit down in eat them. Obvisously I am a little too happy. It shows.

My Swedish pancakes are good too. We do need to compare recipes because Jerianne and I did and Grandma had told Jerianne to add a something that she never mentioned to me. Alex loves my pancakes and asks for them every week. When he had his surgery on his eye, he asked to have pancakes when he got home.

Hi Nic, Try changing your oil to melted butter and adding just a touch of vanilla. You are lucky, Mom wouldn't give me a recipe, I got mine out of the Grace Ward cookbook.
