I LOVE it!

So yes I am reading this right now. My friend Jeni gave it to me for my birthday. I wasn't getting really into it until I hit around page 40. Now I love it. He told a story about a women that he was being a spiritual teacher for. She was mangled with cancer. One day he was going to her house and she was very upset about a ring that she had lost. She was convinced that one of the nurses stole it. She wanted to call the police. He calmly asked her if he could ask her some questions before they called the police. The questions were, "Do you realize that you will have to let go of that ring at some point, perhaps quite soon? How much time do you need before you will be ready to let go of it? Will you become less when you let go of it? Has who you are become diminished by the loss?" You can guess what her answer was. The spirit is the only thing at really matters when it come down to it.
I wasn't really get into this book until I read that story. I guess I needed it because it really hit me hard. He brings up spirituality and the different teachers throughout time. After you get done with certain paragraphs you have to sit there for awhile and think. So to say the least it will take forever to read.

Thanks for the recommendation. I thought it was a book about ecology and probably wouldn't have read it.

Did Jade leave her Dark Book here? It probably is hers, if so, I'll send it on up. And did your mom like her bracelet? I hope so. I love mine.
